    ## Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Certification in traffic control training is a plus.

    ## Day-to-Day
  • Start your day with a team meeting to review the traffic plan for the shift.
  • Travel to assigned locations and set up traffic control equipment as needed.

  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with pedestrians and drivers to ensure they understand their responsibilities and obligations.
  • Maintain a log of all significant events, including near-misses and violations, and report them accordingly.
  • Conclude your shift with a debriefing session with your team to discuss any challenges faced and solutions developed to continually improve traffic management strategies.
